Helping Hearts

Helping Hearts NYC is a campaign created by The Deep End to provide free meals from restaurants to healthcare workers and the people most impacted by COVID-19, while supporting local businesses struggling to survive this pandemic. Thanks to our generous donors from across the country, we have already donated over 25,000 meals since April.

We started with an initial focus on hospital staff and EMS first responders as COVID swamped NYC’s healthcare system. While it may not seem like much, we think a hot meal for our brave healthcare workers helps them feel seen and appreciated, in addition to aiding social distancing since they do not need to leave their facilities to find food.

Through partnership with PSI, the Deep End has the ability to accept tax-deductible donations, plus the increased reach and visibility from their networks.

New York takes care of its own.
